The Landmark London is inviting guests to experience a refined summer retreat in the heart of Marylebone with its new Palmaráe x Winter Garden Afternoon Tea, created in collaboration with luxury gin house Palmaráe.
Running from 15th June to 20th September, the experience transforms the hotel’s iconic eight-storey glass atrium into a lush, palm-filled oasis suspended from the bustle of the city.
Beneath the sweeping canopy of glass and greenery, guests are welcomed into a serene setting where botanical elegance meets contemporary patisserie.
At the centre of the offering is a thoughtfully curated selection of sweets designed by Head Pastry Chef Matteo Sargentelli, inspired by the aromatic profile of Palmaráe gin.
The patisserie quartet reflects a vibrant interplay of flavour and texture: a citrus-forward mandarin and caramel pavlova; a rich Medjool date financier; a Valrhona dark chocolate choux bun paired with charred apricot and rosemary; and an English strawberry tartlet lifted by spearmint-infused custard cream.
Each creation is designed to echo the gin’s layered botanical notes while maintaining a distinctly seasonal British sensibility.
Alongside the desserts, guests are treated to a classic yet elevated selection of savouries and baked goods, including finger sandwiches, warm scones, and a range of cakes such as raspberry and candied lemon drizzle, Valrhona chocolate and vanilla Gugelhupf, and a softly spiced carrot, walnut, rum and raisin cake.
To further elevate the experience, guests may opt for the signature ‘Spirit of the Oasis’ cocktail, a refined blend of Palmaráe gin, Seedlip Garden 108, Creole Shrubb, elderflower cordial, lime juice, orange bitters, and mint—crafted to enhance the sense of escapism under the atrium’s tropical setting.
The Palmaráe x Winter Garden Afternoon Tea is available Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 5pm, and weekends from 1pm to 5pm, priced at £79 per person or £89 with the signature cocktail.
